All professionals listed on Reedsy must have a minimum of five years of experience, ideally with a Big 5 publisher or as a freelancer for a bestselling author — only the top 3% of applicants are accepted. Writers can browse editor profiles by genre, request quotes from up to five professionals simultaneously, and view client reviews before committing. Reedsy’s contract and payment system provides an additional layer of protection for both parties.
